Punjabi singer and Bollywood actor Diljit Dosanjh is embroiled in controversy after the Telangana government imposed strict restrictions on his upcoming Hyderabad concert. The action follows a complaint from a Chandigarh resident, who accused Diljit Dosanjh of promoting alcohol, drugs, and violence through his music. The complaint, supported by video evidence, cited songs such as “Patiala Peg,” “5 Taara,” and “Case”—a track from his latest album Ghost—performed at a prior concert in New Delhi.
