Critics and review of trailer of Rose Rosy Te Gulab
The trailer for “Rose Rosy Te Gulab” presents itself as a romantic comedy with a love triangle at its core. However, it falls short of delivering genuine humor and substance, instead resorting to poking fun at relationships without adding any real value to the narrative.
Gurnaam Bhullar, the Rose Rosy Te Gulab film’s main lead, fails to impress with his acting skills. It’s evident that he lacks the depth and authenticity required to fully embody his character. Rather than immersing himself in the role, Bhullar’s performance feels more like a superficial attempt at comedy, leaving viewers questioning his purpose in the film.
Furthermore, the storyline of Rose Rosy Te Gulab seems to follow a tired formula, with the protagonist seeking marriage for convenience and ultimately finding himself entangled in a love triangle. While such plots have been explored before, “Rose Rosy Te Gulab” fails to bring anything new to the table, relying instead on recycled tropes and clichés.
It seems like a very poor version of triangular love story. Such scripts are outdated from market and were considered in 90s. If we draw comparison to Karan Johar’s “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai” for just script and character development, “Rose Rosy Te Gulab” lacks the depth and character development that made the former a classic. Instead, it comes across as a shallow attempt to capitalize on nostalgia without offering anything of substance.
Even Karan Johar admitted that Rahul in KKHH lacked value. But it was in demand, hence worked.
We are not in the time frame or era where audience will visit theatres for content with no value. Even if Rose to Te Gulab enters the profit zone it won’t add any value to Gurnaam’s acting career. Because acting devotion and surrender to the character seems missing.
The only artist adding value to the screen seems Maahi Sharma portraying the role of an orchestra girl and a jealous wife.
Even Pranjal Dahiya seems like a beauty frame added with no artistic weightage in Rose Rosy Te Gulab. She debuts in the industry as an actress after her superhit Koka song alongside Mankirt Aulakh. No doubts, She carries that magical charisma to get herself noticed. But the world of acting is far more competitive and demanding instead.
Overall, “Rose Rosy Te Gulab” appears to be a missed opportunity, with its lackluster humor and uninspired storyline failing to leave a lasting impression. This is what one feels after watching the trailer. While it may find an audience among those seeking light hearted entertainment, discerning viewers are likely to be left wanting more.
We recommend Gurnaam Bhullar to think wisely, and if sure about his acting career, join a school or mentor someone like Nirmal Rishi and choose scripts very very carefully like singers turned actors like Gippy Grewal and Diljit Dosanjh.
One should never do something because others are doing it especially in the world of entertainment.
