Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon is keeping in the news headlines in Bollywood these days, owing to the fact that her daughter, Rasha Thadani is making her Bollywood debut very soon opposite the nephew of Ajay Devgn. This time again, in an interview, the Mohra actress revealed that she has kept her past life open with her kids.
While slamming journalism of her times she said, “It’s an open book for them. If not today, tomorrow they will read about it somewhere and they might read something worse because you know how the ’90s press was. It was yellow journalism at its peak. They had no scruples, no morals, no integrity.”
Therefore, rather than keeping things hidden from the next generation, Raveena Tandon believes in being upfront and open. This approach serves to shield her children from any unexpected or unusual situations in the future, given their affiliation with a public figure or entertainer’s family.
Disclosing and revealing further the bad practices in journalism Raveena Tandon then additionally stated, “Whose camp they were in or whom they were buttering up or which hero or heroine was buttering them up, they would only write about them, and their side of the story, without even waiting to find out what the truth was.”
Revealing bad practices further, Raveena Tandon also disclosed that these writers of her times sl*t shamed, body shamed, and called actors and actresses with names. These were pet names given to everyone and the more scandalous the story, the worse they would write. She further said, I’ve been called so many things, ‘Amazonian’ and ‘thunder thighs’, ‘Ms Arrogant’, ‘Ms High and Mighty’, so many.”
