In the interview, Namashi expressed his belief that his brother, Mimoh Chakraborty, had the potential to become a superstar if given more opportunities. Comparing Mimoh’s career to that of Abhishek Bachchan, Namashi lamented the industry’s preference for star kids over talented outsiders. He stated, “If my brother got as many chances as Abhishek sir, he would be a superstar today.”
Reflecting on Mimoh’s debut film ‘Jimmy’ in 2008, Namashi revealed that the failure of the film still haunts his brother. Despite Mimoh’s efforts, the stigma surrounding the film’s commercial performance overshadowed his talent. Namashi emphasized that Mimoh’s potential remained untapped due to the industry’s bias towards star kids.
