Following the recent publicized rift between the daughter of Punjab’s Chief Minister, Bhagwant Mann, and former minister Bikram Singh Majithia. CM Bhagwant Mann himself has stepped forward to address the allegations and unfolding political challenges.

Rather than dismissing his daughter, Seerat Kaur Mann’s accusations against him. Bhagwant Mann redirected attention towards Bikram Singh Majithia’s alleged exploitation of his family’s disturbances for political gain. He condemned the intrusion of personal matters into politics, likening the public spectacle to feeling the real heat of disturbances when they occur within one’s own household, despite being seen as a festival celebration by others.

Expressing concern over the purported cessation of funds from Narendra Modi’s government to Punjab, the Chief Minister highlighted a halt in crucial development projects, including roads to villages, transportation to historic shrines, and local healthcare centres. Due to this halt, he emphasized the interference with crucial infrastructural and welfare aspects.

Praising his party’s efforts, Bhagwant Mann underscored their commitment to formulating effective policies, generating revenue, and providing services for societal well-being.
