Controversy Surrounding Release of Salman Khan’s ” Tiger 3 ” in Gulf Countries
Reports have emerged indicating that the release of Salman Khan’s highly anticipated spy drama, “Tiger 3,” is facing a ban in Oman, Kuwait, and Qatar. Allegedly, the ban is attributed to the negative portrayal of Islamic countries and characters within the film. Emraan Hashmi plays the antagonist. He is rumoured to depict the leader of a global terror organization, contributing to the unfavourable representation.
While these reports lack official confirmation. But some fans speculate that the ban may also be influenced by a fight scene involving Katrina Kaif in a towel. This situation is not unprecedented, as previous Indian films with patriotic themes. The ones particularly depicting Pakistan unfavourably, have faced bans in Muslim countries.
Akshay Kumar’s historical drama, “Samrat Prithviraj,” also encountered a similar ban in Kuwait and Oman in 2022. It had accusations of distorting history and hurting sentiments of the Muslim community.
Directed by Maneesh Sharma, “Tiger 3” is part of Yash Raj Films’ Spy Universe and marks the fifth instalment in the franchise following “Ek Tha Tiger,” “Tiger Zinda Hai,” “War,” and “Pathaan.” Notably, reports suggest cameo appearances by Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan, reprising their iconic characters to assist Tiger in the fight against terrorism.
Despite the controversy, “Tiger 3” remains one of the most eagerly awaited films of the year, with massive responses to advance bookings. Also, Salman Khan is actively promoting the movie across various platforms, aiming for it to become a major success.
Further, the movie is slated to release this November on 12th coinciding with Diwali Day.
We wish the entire team behind “Tiger 3” the very best to conquer the box office success.

Akal Takht Sahib, upholding the sanctity of historical narratives, explicitly forbids alterations to such stories. Despite these directives, the filmmakers chose not to adhere to the instructions. It leads to the government’s imposition of a stringent lifetime ban in response to the request from Akal Takht Sahib.
