Bollywood Actor Govinda Accidentally Shot, Rushed to Hospital
In a surprising incident this morning, popular Bollywood actor and Shiv Sena leader Govinda was accidentally shot in the leg at his home in Mumbai. The incident happened around 4:45 AM when Govinda was getting ready to leave for Kolkata. He was checking his licensed revolver when it accidentally fired, and the bullet hit him in the knee.
Govinda’s manager, Shashi Sinha, shared details, saying the actor was preparing for his trip when the revolver went off unexpectedly. “Govinda is fine now, and the bullet has already been removed,” his manager confirmed.
Govinda was quickly taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors treated him. Thankfully, his injury is not serious, but he is staying in the hospital for observation just to be safe. Mumbai Police also confirmed that Govinda’s condition is stable and there’s no major cause for concern.
This incident has shocked fans and people in the film industry. Known for his energetic performances in hit films like Hero No. 1 and Coolie No. 1, Govinda has been a favorite in Bollywood for many years. Recently, he made headlines by joining the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena after a long association with the Congress party.

SGPC Ttakes a strong stand against Bollywood film Emergency
The upcoming release of Kangana Ranaut’s film Emergency has sparked major controversy, particularly among the Sikh community. From the moment the film was announced, it has faced opposition, and now the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has stepped in with a strong demand to ban the film. Harjinder Singh Dhami, in a public statement, expressed his outrage, saying, “This is a direct attack on Sikhs and their role during the Emergency period. The film is harmful and seems designed to spread hatred”. SGPC states, We demand that the Censor Board halt its release immediately.”
