She and her husband Vikas Oberoi were recently involved in a severe car accident in Sardinia, Italy. In fact, the collision included multiple high-end supercars worth crores. Tragically, it claimed the lives of a Swiss couple when their luxury vehicle caught fire.
Details of the actual accident
According to reports, Gayatri Joshi and her husband, Vikas Oberoi, were travelling in a dark blue Lamborghini. They attempted to overtake a camper van by crossing a solid white line. At the same time, a red Ferrari, speeding in the opposite lane, tried to overtake both the Lamborghini and the van. This led to a collision between the Italian exotic cars, causing them to collide with each other and the van, ultimately resulting in the van overturning.
Tragically, a couple from Selva di Val Gardena, aged 61 and 62, who were in the camper van, suffered severe injuries. They were promptly transported to the hospital for medical attention.

Mr and Mrs Krautli, a Swiss couple aged 67 and 63 were travelling in the red Ferrari. They both died after their sports car blasted further into fire. Police and help were immediately provided by the govt.
As the police investigation is currently in progress, the Indian couple is reported to be safe and without any injuries. Unfortunately, the couple in the red Ferrari did not survive, and the occupants of the van sustained injuries. There is a possibility that the Indian couple may face severe penalties, potentially leading to a maximum prison sentence of seven years due to their fault.
