And it all took an unexpected turn when actor Ranbir Kapoor, a heartthrob in the industry, found himself embroiled in a legal controversy. As part of the annual Kapoor clan’s celebrations. A video surfaced on social media featuring Ranbir Kapoor placing a bottle of wine atop a chocolate cake and setting it on fire. He further concludes the act with the phrase “Jai Mata Di.”
However, the usage of this phrase is typically associated with religious chants in Hinduism. hence it has sparked an outcry among some members of the Hindu community. Hence, Ranbir Kapoor is being heavily trolled on social media. Consequently, a legal complaint has also been filed against the actor. And it is citing potential offence to religious sentiments.
As of now, neither Ranbir Kapoor nor the Kapoor family has officially addressed the issue. neither have they provided a statement in response to the controversy. Nevertheless, considering the personal growth and newfound maturity Ranbir Kapoor has displayed since embracing fatherhood. There is high speculation that he might issue an apology through social media platforms soon to address the concerns raised by the community.
