Filmmaker Anees Bazmee Addresses Alleged Feud Between Kapoor Brothers Amid “No Entry 2” Controversy
The alleged fallout between filmmaker Boney Kapoor and actor Anil Kapoor over the casting decisions for “No Entry 2” has been making waves in the media. Boney Kapoor revealed that Anil Kapoor has stopped communicating with him after the sequel of No Entry was confirmed with a fresh cast including Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Arjun Kapoor.
In response to these reports, director Anees Bazmee, who is set to helm No Entry 2, expressed surprise at the alleged strained relations between the Kapoor brothers. Bazmee remarked, “This is news to me. There may have been some slight annoyance,” while adding that his busy schedule shooting “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3” prevented him from directly addressing the situation with Boney Kapoor.
Having collaborated with Anil Kapoor on several projects, including “Pagalpanti” (2019), Bazmee emphasized the significance of “No Entry” (2005) and acknowledged that the absence of Anil in the sequel of No Entry might cause disappointment. He reasoned, “If he’s not part of its No Entry 2, naturally, it would hurt.”
Despite the reported tension, Bazmee remained optimistic about the brothers reconciling, asserting, “They are brothers… Tomorrow they will meet and hug each other. They both love each other.”
As speculation surrounding the feud continues, fans eagerly await any developments in No Entry cast that may lead to an amicable resolution between the Kapoor siblings.
