Bollywood Shock: Akshay Kumar Tests Positive for COVID-19 a Third Time Amid ‘Sarfira’ Promotions!

In a shocking turn of events, Bollywood megastar Akshay Kumar has been struck by COVID-19 for the third time! The actor, currently in the midst of promoting his highly anticipated film Sarfira, began showing symptoms and has since tested positive. Adding to the drama, several members of the promotional team have also contracted the virus.

This isn’t the first time Akshay Kumar battled the dreaded virus. His first encounter in April 2021 saw him hospitalized.

After that he got infected with the same virus again in May 2022, which forced him to cancel his high-profile appearance at the Cannes Film Festival. Akshay Kumar also took to X (formerly Twitter) back then, to express his disappointment to miss the event: “Was really looking forward to rooting for our cinema at the India Pavilion at #Cannes2022, but have sadly tested positive for Covid. Will rest it out. Loads of best wishes to you and your entire team, @ianuragthakur. Will really miss being there.”

Despite this setback, Akshay Kumar remains unstoppable on the professional front. Sarfira has just hit theatres, and the excitement doesn’t end there. He has Khel Khel Mein and Welcome to the Jungle in the row slated to release.

As the Superstar Akshay Kumar is unwell he will have to skip the Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding celebrations and post wedding festivities. It is one of the richest wedding of Asia being covered by media worldwide. Globally noted celebrities and names are in the guest list of the wedding.

With Akshay Kumar testing positive the scare of the disease is back again in the country. Last time when the disease attacked the world it gave a major hitback to the world. The isolation process and distancing norms were laid down in every corner of the world to take a control on the circumstances.

Surprisingly, the next morning, while Indu finds a funeral in progress, Sunny is still alive.
