Nushrratt Bharuccha another B-town actress join the league to unveil the bad practices of the industry

Recently, Nushrratt Bharuccha, a Ram Setu actress opened her heart to share her views. She speaks on the wrong practices that still continue and affect the work life of many hard-working artists in the industry. She is a self-made artist who joined the industry completely as an outsider. And she made a firm place for herself based on her commendable work on projects. The 38 years old actress joined the industry 20 years ago. And the lady kept struggling to prove her mark in the industry.

While interacting she spoke her mind pointing out the issues that need to be addressed in the industry. she said that here actors and actresses are divided into grade systems. Some are considered A-grade actresses. While others are taken into the category of the B grade. She even said that she herself does not understand why this grading system even exists. Why the role is not given based on the capability of an actor? She further elaborated her point stating that an actor should be selected to fit the job and not the grades.

She didn’t blame anyone specifically. But her words tell the struggle story she has been through. Maybe others replaced her just because she was considered in the B grade category. Recently the performer also got replaced in the second part of Dream Girl. She portrayed the love interest of Ayushmann Khurana’s character in part 1. And it was a super hit generating huge profits for the makers.

The makers decided to start a franchise of the flick. But in the second part, she got replaced with Ananya Pandey. When asked about the same. The Taj Mahal film actress said that she herself didn’t have the heart strong enough to ask the makers and accepted it. Recently, she gave a cameo appearance in Tu Jhoothi main Makkaar which turned out to be a superhit.

She is not the first one to come forward and speak her mind. In the past as well many actresses raised these issues. Kangana Ranaut is known to shout out loud against people who gang up and promote Nepotism. And they further do not let outsiders explore this world comfortably as artists. She even blamed these mafias to push Sushant Singh Rajput to take this extreme step that ended his life.

Further, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan pointed out that many times she signed a movie, and in the newspaper, she received information that her replacement already started working on the project. And nobody bothered to even inform her that she is out of it.

Further, recently, Hollywood-turned-Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra as well disclosed some bad practices that keep going in the industry. She even revealed that she was asked to strip off in front of the camera as the director believed that this is what people will come and watch on the screens of theatres. She also said that the pay disparity is very huge between the male stars and the female artists o the industry.

And she was just getting 10 % of what her male co-actor was receiving as remuneration for the contribution to the narrative. She also added that she moved to Hollywood only when she was sidelined and the whole of the industry ganged up against her to corner her from acting. But God had something better to unfold for the entertainer. And today she is making up proud by confidently competing in the Hollywood industry.

Not just the actresses, but actors like Nawazuddin Siddiqui also came forward to share their experiences while struggling to make a mark. He shared that on sets main lead is provided with a separate space and other actors are considered junior artists and treated separately. many times, the actor tried to join the main actors at their lunch table. Most of the time he was asked to leave as it was a space for the main lead. He even said that sometimes he was dragged from his color to leave that space. And he sometimes got lucky to join them at their table.

At the same time when makers like Karan Johar are asked to comment on such issues. They simply say it is their investment. And an investor decides on profits and losses. Karan even said that he is least bothered if artists like Kangana call him mafia. It is his film and if he doesn’t find her fit for the role her words won’t be able to convince him to do that. Ignoring such nasty comments he is again back with a project named Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani in which he again casts Alia Bhatt as the main lead opposite Ranveer Singh.
