When Sonam Kapoor made Big revelations about her life in the Anupam kher show

While taking as a guest on the famous celebrity talk show, Sonam Kapoor made interesting disclosures related to her life and career.

Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor and daughter of the talented Anil Kapoor graced the couch of The Anupam Kher Show in the year 2014. And the host and the actor Anupam Kher asked her many questions that will surprise the audience today. This host is known to always ask witty questions of his guests that clear the air on the rumours linked with them.

With Sonam Kapoor as well he continued his questionnaire on behalf of her fans and the audience. He started with a doubt asking her if she have ever worked as a waitress after being born to a celebrity family. In her answer, the Zoya Factor lead, Sonam Kapoor agreed that she had to work as a waitress to support herself in financing. She also revealed that it was her life’s first job.

Moreover, she admitted that she only survived for a week in that position. Upon asking the Players actress revealed that her mom was never giving her enough money. Hence she ended up joining as a waitress and an employee in a restaurant to sort out her expenditures. She further revealed the name of the restaurant and said that it was in Chacha Charles.

When the host asked her to describe her experience, She confessed in her reply that it was a horrible experience for her. And she only survived in the position for a week. The reasons she cites are that she is a very humble person by nature. Even the host and the elder star of the industry agreed that she carries a very soft and apologizing nature.

Always trying to make things comfortable for others. Always ready to be sorry for the mistakes. Further, she revealed that according to her it was the worst job for her. Hence, she had to leave it after an experience of a week.

Then she joined the industry as an Assistant director under Sanjay Leela Bansali. But on the chat show, she compared her second job to that of a glorified peon. And while speaking she was so obvious and sure in her words.  Anupam Kher further asked her if it surprises him that she decided to join the industry as a director rather than an actress.

And as she is a Starkid, it becomes obvious to try first as a star in the industry. The actress had a witty and surprising reply to the question. She answered it by stating that she didn’t know that she was enough good looking to work as an actress. Her answer generated an instant burst out of laughter among the audience of the show.

Even the host went speechless at her comment for herself. Further, The host came up with the next obvious question and asked the Padman actress how she realized that she is actually enough good looking to join the industry as an artist or an actress instead of working behind the camera.
In her reply, she then revealed that it was not her it was actually Sanjay Leela Bansali ji. She was assisting him with a project. And, he would often compliment her and said that finds her looks comparable to the agent’s painting.

For the unversed Sonam Kapoor is The eldest daughter of The legendary Anil Kapoor. She joined the industry as an actor in the year 2007 with Saawariya. She received four nominations and won one award for her role in her debut movie. Hence it was a good start for her as an actress. After that, she continued to deliver one after another narrative in the Hindi film industry and kept active in her career in the Hindi film industry.

Also, in 2018 The Sanju actress married her longtime boyfriend Anand Ahuja according to the Sikh rituals. After her marriage, she reduced her workload and shifted her concentration more to her personal life. After a while, she moved to the UK. There she conceived her first child and only returned after giving birth to her son in August 2022.

On the work front, she has now completed her next film named Blind which is awaiting a release this year apart from Sonam Kapoor, Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak and Lilith Dubey are as well playing pivotal roles in the story. It is not confirmed yet but there is a likelihood that the movie will stream directly on OTT Jio Cinema.
