Shraddha Kapoor Praises Alia Bhatt and Vasan Bala for Jigra Teaser, Leading to Vasan’s Apology for Stree 2 Mistake

Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor recently shared her excitement for Vasan Bala’s upcoming movie Jigra, which stars Alia Bhatt. While showing her support, this also led to an unexpected moment where Vasan Bala apologized to Shraddha’s fans for forgetting to mention her in a previous post about her film Stree 2.

Shraddha Kapoor Praises Vasan Bala’s Jigra

The story began when Stree 2, the sequel to the popular horror-comedy Stree, became a big hit at the box office. As the movie was getting a lot of praise, Vasan Bala, who’s a well-known director, took to Instagram to congratulate the team behind the film. He mentioned several actors like Rajkummar Rao, Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee, and Pankaj Tripathi, as well as the director and writers. But, in an unfortunate mistake, he forgot to mention the film’s lead actress, Shraddha Kapoor.

Shraddha’s fans weren’t happy about this and expressed their disappointment on social media, especially since they had been campaigning for her to get more recognition for her role in Stree 2.

Despite this mistake, Shraddha showed that she holds no grudges. Recently, she shared the teaser for Vasan Bala’s new film Jigra, which stars Alia Bhatt. Posting on Instagram, Shraddha said, “Ye toh theatre mein bhai ke sath dekhna hai (Have to watch this in theatres with my brother),” tagging her own brother, Siddhanth Kapoor. She also praised Alia Bhatt, calling her a “kamaal ladki” (wonderful girl), and complimented the teaser, saying it was amazing.

Seeing Shraddha’s kind words, Vasan Bala took the chance to thank her, but also to apologize to her fans for his earlier mistake. Reposting her message, he wrote, “Thank you Shraddha, hope you and Siddhanth enjoy the film too. And unrelated but I’ll take this opportunity to address – sorry to your fans. Bhool chuk maaf (forgive me for my mistake),” adding some playful and regretful emojis.

This showed that Vasan Bala was sincere about the mix-up and wanted to make things right with Shraddha’s fans.

Jigra, directed by Vasan Bala and co-produced by Alia Bhatt’s Eternal Sunshine Productions and Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, is creating a lot of excitement. The movie tells the story of a brother and sister, with Alia Bhatt playing the lead role. Shraddha’s enthusiastic praise for the film has only added to the buzz.

Set to release on October 11, Jigra also stars Vedang Raina and Manoj Pahwa. The emotional storyline, along with Alia’s strong performance and Vasan Bala’s direction, is making fans eager to watch it.

The real takeaway from this story is Shraddha Kapoor’s kindness and professionalism. Even though she was accidentally left out of Vasan Bala’s Stree 2 appreciation post, she didn’t make a fuss. Instead, she supported his next project and praised Alia Bhatt, showing her positive attitude.

Emergency Film postponed amid delay in CBFC certification

Emergency is a political drama that explores the Emergency period in India from 1975 to 1977, a time when civil liberties were suspended and political dissidents were jailed.
