Faizan Ansari, known for his outspoken personality, has lodged a complaint at an Indore police station, accusing Chandrika aka the Vada Pav Girl of preparing and selling vada pav under extremely unhygienic and compromised conditions. According to Faizan, the cleanliness—or lack thereof—of Vada Pav Girl’s food is a serious issue. He claims that despite her rising popularity, she’s been neglecting basic hygiene, potentially endangering the health of her customers.

In his complaint, Faizan didn’t mince words. He alleges that Chandrika’s vada pav is prepared in filthy conditions and is far from healthy. He even warned others to steer clear of her food if they value their health. According to Faizan, he personally fell ill after eating one of her Vada Pav Girl’s food and had to be hospitalised. This incident, he says, pushed him to take legal action. He’s now seeking Rs 100 crore in a defamation lawsuit against her, accusing her of using unhealthy ingredients and tarnishing the reputation of Indore’s famed street food scene.

This scandal has taken many by surprise, especially since Vada Pav Girl had just enjoyed a wave of popularity following her appearance on Bigg Boss OTT 3. Now, her reputation as a beloved street food vendor is being questioned, with fans and food lovers alike wondering if the Vada Pav Girl’s success story might have a darker side.

So far, there’s been no response from Chandrika Dixit( Vada Pav Girl) in response to these claims, leaving her supporters and critics alike in suspense. In the meantime, people are debating the truth behind Faizan’s allegations, with some backing him and others standing by Chandrika.

Many are also assuming it to be a publicity stunt aimed to gain attention either by Faizan or a planned joint game by both Faizan and the Vada Pav Girl.

Fora those unaware Indore is a celebrated city with street food is a source of pride, these accusations are particularly serious. Faizan’s complaint even suggests that Chandrika is damaging the city’s reputation across the country. This controversy has sparked a broader conversation about food safety and the responsibilities that come with fame, especially for those who have built their brands on social media.
