“Bibhav came and started abusing and kept slapping without provocation,” Swati Maliwal stated in her complaint. “I made noise and said ‘Let me go,’ but he kept beating me continuously and abusing me in Hindi. He threatened, ‘We will see, we will deal with it.’ I informed him that I was menstruating and in considerable pain, begging him to leave me alone.”

Despite her pleas, the assault continued, according to Swati Maliwal. She described how she tried to defend herself by pushing Kumar away with her legs, but he allegedly pounced on her, dragged her brutally, and deliberately pulled her shirt up. The FIR details further violence, with Kumar allegedly kicking her in the chest, stomach, and pelvic area.

In a state of shock and trauma, Swati Maliwal managed to escape the house and called the police. “I was in a terrible state of shock at this attack. I was deeply traumatized and called the 112 number and reported the incident,” she stated in the FIR. However, when security personnel arrived, they allegedly did not assist her.

Instead, according to Swati Maliwal, they followed Kumar’s instructions to throw her out of the premises. Despite her physical condition, Swati Maliwal was forced to leave and wait outside until the police arrived. “Bibhav came back with the security personnel working at the main gate. I kept telling them that I was brutally beaten up and they should look at my condition and wait until the police comes but they asked me to leave the premises,” her statement reads.

The incident has sparked outrage and demands for a thorough investigation. Swati Maliwal’s allegations are serious and call for immediate attention from law enforcement and political authorities. However, the narrative is complicated by a video clip circulating on social media, which suggests that Swati Maliwal was involved in a provocative exchange with the security personnel.
