Sukhee Bollywood movie story, budget review

Complete review of the Latest Bollywood movie Sukhee including a budget, star cast, and story.

Shilpa Shetty comes as Sukhee with a performance that is power-packed, In this full entertainer emotional drama. It is a female-oriented drama. Further, it tries to target a homemaker living in probably every house of an Indian family.

Story of Sukhee

The story of the movie starts with Shilpa Shetty performing all the household duties as a dedicated housewife. She plays the tight tutor character in the story. Her husband and child happen to accept her merely on the relationship as a mother and a wife. They expect her to be perfect in the job she is entitled to.

The only support she has in the family is her grandfather-in-law who believes that Sukhee is a human than a wife or a mother. In the meantime, she gets to know that her college group is gathering for a reunion. As expected her husband is least bothered to even listen to her and keeps tea or realising her for her mistakes that happen to affect his business as he States.

Her father-in-law suggested she should not miss this one in a billion chance before he died in the story. After her husband disapproves of her trip. She runs away to live that reunion. There, her friends reminded her of her bold college avatar and explained to her that she was living a mere doormat life. Further, they convinced her that she needed to stand at fight for herself.

Hence she decides not to return back and live for her time being. Eventually, she happens to more gain confidence. In the meantime, her husband and daughter realise her importance in their life and the individual existence of Sukhee beyond being their relative.

Budget of Sukhee

The main lead of the movie is Shilpa Shetty and most of the locations of shooting is either India specifically Punjab. There are some celebration moments in the story. They happen to pose a financial load on the script. But the rest of the star cast playing the supportive roles gave limited financial pressure. Hence, altogether we can say Sukhee was filmed within a budget of 12 to 15 crores.

Starcast of Sukhee

Shilpa Shetty Kundra plays the main lead in and as Sukhee. Khusha Kapila, Dilnaaz Irani and Pavleen Gujaral play as close friends to Sukhee. Further, Chaitanya Choudhury takes the role of Sukhee’s husband Guru. Amit Shah comes in a major supportive role as Vikram Verma. Also, Mahi Jain is playing the role of Sukhee’s daughter Jassi.

Additionally, Sonal Joshi is the director of the movie. Also, it was written by Radhika Anand, Paulomi Dutta and Rupinder Inderjeet. Moreover, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vikram Malhotra and Shikha Sharma joined hands to produce this feminist drama under the banner of Abundatya Entertainment and T series films jointly.

Review of Sukhee

Again sukhee is a feminist drama that brings the daily struggles of a female living in every house of an Indian family. It depicts the accepted picture of a woman and her devotion to fit in the whole system and society. Shilpa Shetty is amazing She is able to bring life to the character of Sukhee. Fitting well in the story, she presented Sukhee in the most effortless and natural way.

Since the start of the story, this feminist drama tries to connect with the female audience, especially homemakers. But again the focus is really limited. Not as wide to drag the audience to the theatres. We believe that Sukhee has it all to entertain the audience but not in theatres. Because it targets a certain part of the society. Was it launched on an OTT? It was going to gain TRPs on a daily basis and become a trendsetter.

Makers lost it in the battle of theatre competition. But their audience is already waiting to watch it on OTT. They have better access to remotes compared to theatres. 

 Collections so far for Sukhee

Jawan fever still continues in the minds of Indian audiences. Hence both the good movies launched this week The Great Indian Family and Sukhee got badly hit. Because of severe competition from Shahrukh Khan’s Starrer. In the 1st week, Suki was not able to successfully cross the one crore mark. And now the first week comes to an end. the makers must be prepared for a further fall by at least 70%. Hence it fails and tanks at the box office.

In the end, We recommend it as a good treat for those who like feminist-oriented drama it has emotions comedy fun celebration and a positive climax at the end.
