Punjabi actress Sonam Bajwa has shared her approach to traveling with minimal teams to help reduce expenses for her producers. “I don’t enjoy being surrounded by people constantly. I prefer having the minimum number of people around me. There have been many instances where I have done my own makeup. I am my own stylist at least 99 percent of the time,” said Sonam Bajwa, who has starred in popular films like Carry on Jatta part 2 and 3, Puaada, Manje Bistre, and the latest Kudi Haryane Val Di.

Sonam Bajwa emphasized the importance of not burdening producers and approaching work with empathy. “As a responsible actor, if you can help the producer reduce costs, you should,” said the actress, known for her roles in Bala (2019) and Street Dancer 3D (2020). She added, “I always tell my team, if I ever become a producer and see wastage, I would feel very bad. So we all need to act as if the film is ours too. There shouldn’t be any waste, whether it’s food or resources. If there’s something I can do myself, I will.”

In a light-hearted comment, she said, “That’s why I have to dress properly when I go to Mumbai, otherwise I’d prefer to travel comfortably in pajamas.” On a more serious note, she added, “People consume this content, and there’s a demand for it. Otherwise, waiting all day in the heat wouldn’t be easy. People wait outside for them.”
