Salim Khan Defends Salman Khan Amid Lawrence Bishnoi’s Threats, Says He Never Killed the Blackbuck
Amid increasing death threats from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, Bollywood star Salman Khan’s father, Salim Khan, has come out strongly to defend him. In an interview with ABP News, Salim Khan revealed that Salman was not involved in the blackbuck poaching incident and wasn’t even present when it happened.
According to Salim Khan, he asked his son about the incident when the news first broke. Salman told him, “I wasn’t even there. I wasn’t in the car, and I didn’t do it.” Salim Khan added that Salman has always been truthful with him and would never lie about something like this. He stated, “Salman doesn’t have any interest in harming animals. He loves them. In fact, he wouldn’t even kill a cockroach.”
Salim Khan also mentioned that Salman has always been known for his kind-heartedness in the film industry, and suggesting he apologize would mean accepting something he didn’t do. He asked, “Why should Salman apologize? How many animals have you saved? Have you ever killed a cockroach? We don’t believe in these things, and neither does Salman.”
These statements come at a time when death threats against Salman have become more serious, especially after the murder of politician Baba Siddique, a close friend of the Khan family. Salman, however, has not let this affect his professional life. He continues to shoot for his upcoming projects, including “Sikander” and “Bigg Boss 18,” but with tight security around him. His Y+ security detail has been significantly increased, and reports suggest that over 60 guards are now on duty to protect him. Additionally, every person entering his film sets must now provide their Aadhaar card for identification.
The escalating threats and the ongoing blackbuck case continue to keep Salman Khan in the spotlight, but Salim Khan’s unwavering support and Salman’s resilience have shown that the actor is determined to move forward, focusing on his work while ensuring his safety.
