Bollywood movie Jaane Jaan story budget cast and complete review with ratings

The Jaane Jaan is a murder mystery and love story. Also, it marks the debut of Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan on OTT. Moreover, Vijay Varma from the south and Jaideep Ahlawat come in pivotal roles alongside her.

Story of Janne Jaan

In the story of Jaane Jaan, Kareena is a single mother named Maya D’souza who lives with her daughter and runs a café. Next, she has a neighbour who is a mathematics teacher and admires her secretly. Also in the past, she was married to a corrupt police officer. In fact, she ran away with her daughter to save her from his corrupt pans and changed her identification.

One day after around 15 years he turns back and wants to sell off her daughter in the business of human trafficking. Finally, they end up in an argument and in self-defence, Maya kills him. Here Jaane Jaan takes a mysterious turn. She was not aware that her neighbour’s teacher had access to all the sounds and voices of her home through a broken wooden frame. But, he turns up as a god’s man to help and support her.

After the investigation starts. The assigned officer starts to doubt her. Eventually, his doubts and gut feelings get stronger against Maya. Hence, at the end of the film Jaane Jaan, the teacher comes up front to take all the blame. Surprisingly, he devotes his life and career to the love of his life.

Reviews

Kareena Kapoor Khan is able to pull the character as a mature, calm and fighting mother. Her performance is seamless and flawless. It feels like she doesn’t have to work really hard to get into the shoes of Maya. Further, as an artist, she is able to successfully generate a feeling connection of between the character and the audience. She keeps lifting every possibility to bring life to Jaane Jaan.

Jaideep Ahlawat is a gift not only to the character but to Jaane Jaan as an entertainer. He flawlessly and smoothly takes on the ride of a psycho yet intelligent planner of the game. He plays the most powerful character with a hundred percent justice to it. His specific feelingless and blank expressions bring life to the character of the teacher.

Vijay Varma comes as a sharp-minded police officer with all the abilities to crack the case. He is a dignified investigation officer on a mission to bring the case to an end.

Kareena Kapoor Khan debuts at the OTT with this strong project taking centre stage in the entire story. She plays both the antagonist and the main lead who is both the victim and the winner in her character life.

We believe that it was a good script with an excellent team working on it. Hence, it was a win on theatre release as well. But Kareena Kapoor Khan invested years to create a strong place for herself in the industry. hence, she needed a strong role and script to get launched on OTT

Budget of Jaane Jaan

The majority of the shooting happened in a restricted hilly area with no major expenditures on the location, luxury or costumes. As an artist, Kareena Kapoor Khan is the most expensive addition to the project. Apart from her Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat play strong connecting characters in the story. Hence over all Jaane Jaan is made on a reasonable budget of 10 to 15 crores.

It is a cult mystery drama and is available on Netflix from 21st September onwards. The majority of the audience goes in favour of declaring this film a hit on OTT. We find Jaane Jaan an interesting chapter of investigation that proves everything is fair in love and war. In the end, we wish the team all the best for their OTT TRPs.
