Budget of Cheta Singh

As per the trailer, Cheta Singh is made in the villages of Punjab. Majority of the shoots revolve around open farms or a dumped place that Cheta Singh uses in his revenge. Further the sarcast of the film as well is very reasonable in monetary terms. Prince Kanwaljeet gets the majority of the screen time. Altogether, it is a reasonable entertainer made on a budget of around 4 crores.

Release date with director and producer

Cheta Singh is all set to hit the big screens from 01 september 2023. Ashish Kumar is the director of the flick. And Rana Jethuwal is the writer of the movie. The trailer of the movie was released on a youtube channel on 18 August 2023. And in a week long time the view count have just reached 3 and a half lacs count. Hence, the publicity of the movie is cornered yet. But as the narrative is about to hit the silver screens, low public interaction will affect the output on the big screens.

Prince Kanwaljeet Singh is one of the multi talented artists of the film industry of Punjab. He is not only the on screen artist, rather he is also a very good script and dialogue writer. Many are unaware that he was the writer of the superhit punjabi thriller named Warning. There is no confirmation yet if the second part of the movie as well is written by the Munda Sardaran Da actor.

Trailer review, Cheta Singh

This punjabi flick tries to generate a connection between village audience and the main lead. Prince KJ Singh comes as a victim farmer who gets on a mission of revenge. It involves drama, killing, emotions and fight for respect in the story. Prince Kanwaljeet is deep into the character and carries the role effortlessly. Further, Japji Khaira for the first time steps into the shoes of a police officer.

In the past as well Punjabi entertainment industry have witnessed only comedy and revenge based stories succeeding on the big screens. Hence there is a good hope that Prince KJ will win the audience. the only drawbacks that can take a toll on the success is the publicity. Team of the flick seems inactive on this part. Rather, movies that are releasing after a week or two are getting better public awareness.

Today, Publicity is not tough. It is just a few clicks away on every phone in the country and beyond borders. Actors are getting live, conducting AMA’s with audience and sharing a bond directly with their fans and followers. Moreover, paid publicity and other tei ups that could generate better exposure are missing for now. Even on the youtube channel, the view count is just in lacs.

Hence, as the time frame is really limited team of Cheta Singh must roll up the cuffs and should start with rigorous promotions.

Ratings

Starcast, story, budget and direction all seem balanced making Cheta Singh a full entertainer. Moreover, action and drama in the movie makes it far better compared to the majority of the releases of North India. As the industry is growing, New films are being made to entertain the audience and not just for the sake of it.

Cheta Singh Review

We give Cheta Singh a ratings of 3 stars and recommend audience to watch trailer before planning to book tickets. Because the story involves lots of kidnapping and killing.
