Once Sara Ali Khan wanted to date Kartik Aryan asked Karan Johar to convey to Kartik

The Bollywood actress and Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara Ali Khan wanted to date Kartik Aryan one day.

The Gaslight actress Sara Ali Khan once admitted on national TV that she wants to date Bollywood actor Kartik Aryan. It happened on Koffee with Karan Show. It was the fifth episode of the sixth season of the talk show. Along with the actress, her dad Saif Ali Khan visited the show as a guest. Host Karan Johar threw this in the rapid-fire round as a question. His question was Name the actor from the industry, whom you will like to date in the future. Without a second thought, the Atrangi Re actress immediately replied Kartik Aryan. She even when on to say that she finds his cute.

For the unversed, Koffee with Karan is a celebrity talk show that first aired in 2004 on National Tv. Since then, the show generated immense popularity owing to its controversy-generating attitude. Producer cum director Karan Johar is the host and the executive of the show to date. 

To add more spice to the news the presenter of the show asked the actress to confirm. Further, the actress also asked the host and the producer of Dilwale Dulhaniya le Jayenge to convey the message to the star that she is interested in dating him.

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan and Sara’s father who accompanied her in that show interfered there. And he gave an epic reaction to the discussion. As a doting father, he asked does the actor have enough money to date her. He also added that, if he has then it is fine with him. After that actress Sara Ali Khan gave a weird look to her dad. Her looks meant to ask him from where the point of money is coming.

Karan Johar, the maker of many love stories in the Hindi cinema gave an epic reply to the actress saying that now as the news is already on national TV, the actor will soon come to know that Sara Ali Khan wants to date him. To this statement of the Student of the Year producer, the actress agreed happily. It was the big news of its time that the actress showed her interest in a self-made star of the industry. In the past as well. actress Alia Bhatt replied on the same show stating that she wants to date Ranbir Kapoor and today they are a married couple and proud parents to their daughter Raha.

After a few days while interacting with the media the Shehzada of Bollywood was asked if he is aware that actress and daughter of the Nawab wants to date him. In reply, the actor blushed and agreed that he came to know that she is interested.

Considering the publicity of the controversy, director Imtiaz Ali decided to cast them together in Love Aaj Kal. The name was used in Hindi entertainment for the second time in 2020. In the 2009 version, Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone played the lead characters. And in the 2020 version, Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aryan performed the lead roles. Imtiaz Ali directed both movies. But the 2009 story was a blockbuster whereas Kartik Aryan and Sara Ali Khan failed to impress the audience together in 2020. The makers of the narrative invested about 50 crores in the project. but the flick only generated 52.5 crores in its lifetime run. 

No doubt the makers were in profits after selling the OTT rights. But it didn’t turn out to be a blockbuster as expected by the director. Since the actors started working on the project, their dating rumors sparked in the entertainment world. As soon as the movie went average, their breakup news hit the headlines. 

But both the stars never confirmed anything about their alleged relationship. Hence everything started after a time span and they both went on to concentrate on their respective careers. Now both the actors are going strong in their fields. Sara Ali Khan’s last release Zara Hatke Zara Bachke is going steady at the box office. The feature film was released pan India on 2nd June 2023.

It is a comedy-based love story of a married couple who dreams to own a house in the city. But they had to get a fake divorce to claim a govt schemed house. And while their divorce file is pending they have to pretend to be hating. It is a family-oriented fun drama that is successful in entertaining the audience. 

On the other hand, actor Kartik Aryan is awaiting his next release named Satya Prem Ki Katha. It is a love-based musical drama. And Kiara Advani has been roped in to play the love interest of Satya Prem. The narrative is all set to hit the theatres from 29 June 2023 onwards. To date, the official teaser and trailer of the film garnered lots of love from the audience and its trailer crossed 30 million views in just 72 hours. hence, it is an awaited entertainer for the audience as well. Moreover, this flick marks the comeback of the lead star Kiara Advani post her marriage.
