New information has come out about the sad passing of Malaika Arora and Amrita Arora’s father, Anil Mehta. The post-mortem report confirms that he died from “multiple injuries” after allegedly jumping from the balcony of his home in the Aisha Manor Building, Bandra.
Before the tragedy, Anil Mehta reportedly called his daughters, Malaika and Amrita, telling them, “I am tired.” This suggests he might have been going through some emotional struggles.
Anil’s ex-wife, Joyce, who was in the house at the time, gave more details to the police. She said she saw his slippers in the living room and went to check the balcony but couldn’t find him. When she looked down, she saw a commotion in the compound, with security guards calling for help. Joyce also mentioned that Anil didn’t have any serious health problems except for knee pain.
Right now, the investigation is ongoing, and more details will be shared as they come in. The Arora family is still mourning their loss.
The last rites were performed on Thursday in Mumbai. Many noted Bollywood celebrities including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Farah Khan, Arjun Kapoor and Arbaaz Khan attended funeral.
