🎭 Review: A Great Story, but Weak Performances Let It Down
Loveyapa’s concept is engaging and relevant, keeping the audience hooked with its unique premise. However, the execution and performances fail to do justice to it.
👍 Junaid Khan – Average but Promising
For his debut at Box Office, Junaid Khan does a decent job as Gaurav. His performance is average, and while he fits into the role, his emotional expressions often feel limited. He has potential, but he needs more refinement to leave a lasting impact.
👎 Khushi Kapoor – A Complete Misfit
The biggest disappointment of Loveyapa is Khushi Kapoor as Baani. Her acting is so forced and artificial that she remains Khushi Kapoor throughout instead of becoming Baani. Her dialogue delivery feels rehearsed, her emotions lack depth, and she struggles to create any real connection with the audience. Shockingly, a junior artist playing her younger sister gives a far better performance, proving that talent matters more than family connections in Bollywood.
🌟 Kiku Sharda – The Show Stealer!
The best part of the film is Kiku Sharda, who delivers a fantastic performance as Gaurav’s sister’s fiancé. His comic timing, expressions, and dialogue delivery add much-needed entertainment to the film. While other actors struggle, Kiku Sharda shines effortlessly, making his character one of the biggest highlights of Loveyapa.
❌ The Climax – A Total Letdown!
Just when the film builds up tension around deepfake technology, the resolution is shockingly weak. The entire issue gets solved with just a click! There’s no real struggle, no confrontation, and no justice, making the ending feel lazy, rushed, and completely unrealistic.
💡 Final Verdict:
Loveyapa had the potential to be a great film, but poor execution and weak performances drag it down. The strong story and Kiku Sharda’s fantastic acting are the only saving graces. Junaid Khan shows promise, but Khushi Kapoor completely fails to impress. The climax ruins whatever was built up, leaving the audience disappointed.
