Kulhad Pizza Couple in Jalandhar Now Facing New Threats—Gangsters Join the Fray
The famous Kulhad Pizza couple from Jalandhar, Sahaj Arora and Gurpreet Kaur, finds themselves at the center of controversy yet again as they receive fresh threats, this time allegedly from gangsters. Their lawyer informed the Punjab-Haryana High Court that these threats have intensified over recent days, adding that they now face not only backlash from certain Nihang groups but also intimidation from criminal gangs.
According to the couple’s legal team, these threats are documented and will be presented to the High Court in written form during the next hearing, scheduled for January 20. Following this disclosure, the High Court temporarily adjourned the case and ordered the Punjab government to take swift action to ensure their safety. In response, Punjab Police provided two security personnel to protect Kulhad Pizza couple Sahaj Arora and Gurpreet Kaur, with regular police patrolling around their residence and restaurant premises.
The case, which began with a petition by the Kulhad Pizza couple, sought protection after they allegedly began receiving life threats stemming from Nihang Maan Singh’s protests. Concerned for their lives, the couple turned to the court, citing a series of menacing incidents that left them fearful for their safety. The High Court promptly issued orders to the Punjab government to assess the threats and ensure their protection.
The Additional Commissioner of Jalandhar recently updated the High Court, confirming that the threats against Kulhad Pizza couple Sahaj and Gurpreet are being closely evaluated, with the government determining next steps. Meanwhile, the Kulhad Pizza couple, who became an online sensation with their unique concept of pizzas served in clay cups, is now caught in a spiraling controversy that is testing their resilience.
For now, with security in place, they hope that justice and safety will prevail amidst these escalating challenges.
