Kuch Khattaa Ho Jaay is a hilarious family comedy-drama that revolves around a couple who ditches family to fulfil the dreams of the girl to be an IAS officer.

Storyline
Ira is a determined young woman with aspirations of becoming an IAS officer, unwilling to let daily chores or family pressures deter her from her dreams. However, her family is adamant about arranging her marriage and settling her down. On the other hand, Randhawa hails from a wealthy family in Agra, and his grandfather’s dying wish is for him to marry. Despite their initial reluctance, Ira and Randhawa find themselves tying the knot.
Heer proves to be a supportive husband, allowing Ira to pursue her studies uninterrupted. However, a misunderstanding arises when an innocent act by Ira gives the impression that she is pregnant. Ira and Randhawa conspire to continue the pregnancy charade to avoid further disruptions. Eventually, the situation escalates, leading them to stage a dramatic accident.
Budget of Kuch Khattaa Ho Jaay
Kuch Khattaa Ho Jaay is a rom-com entertainer made on a budget of hardly 10 crore.
Reviews
Guru Randhawa’s lack of acting prowess is evident, as he struggles to immerse himself in his character, appearing to have joined the project primarily for the opportunity to showcase his songs.
While Saiee Manjekar shows potential, she falls short of delivering a standout performance, possibly due to inadequate guidance. Even esteemed actors like Anupam Kher cannot salvage the project.
Although the underlying theme of young women succumbing to societal pressures and marrying against their wishes holds potential, the attempt to present it in a comedic light results in a disjointed and messy narrative.
Perhaps Guru Randhawa would have been better suited to focus solely on his music career rather than attempting to venture into acting.
