Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon gets emotional on portraying Janaki in Adipurush

Kriti Sanon is quite excited about her next project, Adipurush. This project marks the best phase of her career. As she is playing a strong role in one of the most expective films of Indian entertainment. She will be seen in the role of Sita Ma in this adaptation of Ramayan. And not to forget, she is starring opposite Prabhas.

While promoting the movie on a platform she felt thankful to the audience for a warm welcome on the stage. Getting emotional the Heropanti actress said that she is feeling so good to be here. She thanked everybody present there stating that she feels a warm-warm welcome. She also said that she debuted with Nenokkadine in the Telugu industry 9 years ago. And now she plays the strongest character of her life in Telugu again. Additionally, Luka Chuppi’s lead also said that now after nine years she considers this opportunity as a blessing for her that her well-wishers wished for her career.

She also mentioned that it is the unconditional love and support of the audience that just after nine years. She is accompanying them on this stage standing alongside her path’s most precious film Adipurush. Moreover, the Dilwale actress also thinks that Janaki is her most special character among all the ones she has portrayed to date. As an artist, she also carries the opinion that people rarely get a chance in their lifetime to portray such strong characters. And she is blessed with the opportunity in the ninth year of her career. Where sometimes it is hard for actors to reach a place where she finds herself after performing Janaki for Adipurush.

She believes that it is the prayers and love of her viewers, well-wishers, and fans. That she is holding this position in front of them at this stage in life. she ended up saying thank you for all the love. It was a speech from the bottom of the heart of an artist. Her words were grounded and touchy.

Adipurush is one of the most expensive epic dramas in Indian Cinema that will take us back to a rile of times of Ramayan. It is a strong subject with a regional background. The makers were very sure to cast one of the best. Hence kriti sanon was not on the list when they considered Bollywood actresses for this strong role. Deepika Padukone was the first choice of the director but the Pathaan lead was already busy with a line of projects. hence before finalizing Kriti, Anushka Shetty, Anushka Sharma, Kiara Advani, and Keerthy Suresh were considered. But things didn’t go well with any of them. Hence the role landed in the lap of Kriti Sanon.

Speaking about the same in one of her past interviews the Panipat actress spoke her mind and said that artists don’t select the roles. Rather roles select them. And somehow we agree with her because makers never wanted her as the first choice. but the role landed for her because that was the destiny of the role.

Apart from Kriti Sanon, Prapbhas plays the main lead character portraying a character named Raghava. Sunny Singh will come in the shoes of Lakshmana. Saif Ali Khan will come as the biggest Antagonist of history as Ravana. Although he was not the first choice. But destiny gave him the role after Hritik Roshan refused to take any negative role in his career. Additionally, Devdatta Nage will act as Bajrang in the story.

The original budget of the venture was planned as 400 crores. but when the first teaser of the movie was launched. The immediate response was bad with viewers criticizing the visual effects. hence the makers decided to invest another 100 crores to improve the visuals, colors, and view balancing as demanded. The final Budget of the project soared to 500 crores. And it made the flick the most expensive project of Indian cinema to date.

Further, the makers have successfully recovered 432 crores already even before the cinematic launch of the film. They sold digital rights, satellite rights, and musical rights of the project in exchange for whopping 247 crores. Also, the south chains of theatres have guaranteed a minimum of 185 crores with the theatrical release in their region only. And pan India release will generate separate revenue. Moreover, there will be some worldwide collections as it is getting released internationally. Hence, this historical drama is definitely a win on the ticket window.

The epic drama based on Ramayan is all set to hit the theatres from 16 June 2023 onwards. The script will release in two languages, Telugu for the south and Hindi for the rest of the nation, and international launch.
