Kartik Aaryan Slams Bollywood: ‘No One Rallies Behind Me Despite Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’s Blockbuster Success’
Kartik Aaryan, Bollywood’s rising superstar, has never shied away from addressing the challenges of his journey. In a recent interview, the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 actor revealed his struggles with a lack of industry support, even after delivering massive hits. He said, “This house you see today—I bought it with my own money. I’ve fought like crazy to reach here. And it’s not done yet. I know I won’t get industry support for the road ahead, and I’ve come to terms with it.”
Kartik Aaryan’s remarks come after Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 emerged victorious at the box office, surpassing the collections of Rohit Shetty’s multi-starrer Singham Again. The latter featured Bollywood A-listers like Ajay Devgn, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, and Ranveer Singh, yet it couldn’t match the audience’s love for Kartik Aaryan’s horror-comedy.
Reprising his iconic role as Rooh Baba, Kartik Aaryan starred alongside Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, and Triptii Dimri in the third installment of the hit franchise. Reflecting on his journey, he said, “Despite delivering a monster hit, nobody will rally behind me. I still have to hustle for my next film. Many are waiting for me to fail, but I only seek validation from my audience.”
The actor’s candid words shed light on Bollywood’s power dynamics, where stardom doesn’t always guarantee solidarity. While Singham Again boasted a star-studded ensemble and high-octane action, it couldn’t overshadow Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’s gripping storyline and Kartik Aaryan’s charm.
Up next, Kartik Aaryan set to begin shooting for the sequel to Pati Patni Aur Woh, proving yet again that he’s determined to carve his own path, with or without the industry’s backing.
