Is OMG2 a return of the superstar Akshay Kumar towards stardom?

The Bollywood actor, Akshay Kumar is all set to return to the silver screen with big hopes as the second chapter of the OMG2 series reaches new heights on social media. It is a comeback of the Khiladi actor after a series of flops that failed to gain audience footfall in theatres.

OMG2 trailer as well depicts the resemblance of the story with the first chapter. Where a middle-class man fights against the corrupt system for the welfare of society. In the first film, a middle-class man fought for his shop that was destroyed due to a natural disaster and insurance companies refused to pay the claimant as it is not covered under the law.

Then, organisations running temples and mandirs as well refused to support him. hence, he ends up challenging the system in court. Nobody supported him. Hence God decided to support his fight. The trailer of the second episode as well shows Akshay Kumar as the face of god. He stands in support of the needy fighter Kanti played by Pankaj Tripathi. 

Akshay Kumar played the character of Krishna referring to Lord Krishan in part 1. And this time, he is taking the role of Lord Shiva for his audience. In the trailer, he successfully carries the character in depth. There is an obvious connection built to generate goosebumps after watching it. It is trending heavily on Youtube with views beyond 15 million in just 9 hrs. Pankaj Tripathi looks promising and as always won’t let you down with his intense acting.

The audience is all over the internet and social media praising the exact blend of story characters and artists. There is a scene in the teaser video that shows the Sooryavanshi actor buying Prasad in return for blessings. And the shopkeeper teasingly asks for money instead of blessings. That is the most influential part of the video. Many fans and followers applauded the team’s life lesson-based drama.

As the movie was recently in the headlines of the Bollywood news because of around 20 cuts suggested by Censor Board. A few of the fans wish that to be part of the OTT version of the narrative. The likes and comments in favour of the trailer clearly depict that it is going to be a game-changer for the Phir Hera Pheri actor. As the movie brings some religious challenges, it will definitely be a fun-filled fight.

Apart from Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi, Yami Gautam, Pavan Malhotra, Govind Namdev and Arun Govil play important characters in the story. Also, it is a big budget drama with almost 150 crores invested in the fight that starts in a school to reach courtrooms and finally the public of India. Further, the trailer does not depict the real topic of discussion in the legal battle. Moreover, it shows that something happened with the son of the fighter in his school. And he gets dismissed. 

As per the close resources, this narrative is linked to sex education for all genders. hence, it is quite likely to invite some controversies along with success. But that is what the Baby Actor is trying all the time. He makes sure that he creates at least one social message-based drama every year. Be it Padman, Toilet Ek Prem Katha, Raksha Bandhan or Good Newwz. He always leaves something in the minds of his audience. 

This time again, OMG 2 will hit many sentiments nationwide and even beyond borders. Many will condemn and many more will commend. But the audience is likely to watch it. The hiked views on the trailer as well show that it is set to mark the return of the International Khiladi actor with a bang. 

Further, youtube counts as well have earned good money starting the footsteps of the project towards recovery. Further, a big number of thumbs up vs zero thumbs down shows majority in the favour of such deep stories. As always the selfie actor is ready with a line of projects heading completion.

After OMG2 his next entertainer will be The Great Indian Rescue. This narrative is a biopic based on the life of a brave engineer who saved 64 labourers stuck in the tragedy of Raniganj Coalfields. it is complete and slated to release this October on the 5th. Alongside Akshay, Parineeti Chopra, Suniel Shetty and Abhishek Bachchan as well have pivotal roles in this historic drama.

After that, he is also working on two big projects Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Hera Pheri 3. Further, he is also about to start working on Jolly LLB 3. All these projects of the Ram Setu star look promising.
