A loyal fan, who couldn’t get her hands on tickets, has sent a legal notice to Diljit and the event organizers, accusing them of unfair practices during ticket sales.
This fan, a law student from Delhi, was excited to see her favorite singer live. However, when she tried to buy tickets, she found that prices were unusually high, and many were already sold out. In her notice titled “Manipulation of Ticket Prices, Unfair Trade Practices, and Ticket Scalping for Diljit Dosanjh’s Dil-Luminati India Tour,” she claims that the organizers allowed tickets to be resold at much higher rates, violating consumer rights.
This isn’t the first time such issues have surfaced in the Punjabi music industry. Previously as well social media influencer Soumya Sahni slammed the Dil-Luminati tour led by Diljit Dosanjh for its expensive ticket pricing. It kind of started a debate among audiences about the tickets pricing and selling issues. The unfair practices seem to be happening during Diljit’s tour, leaving his fans feeling cheated.
Diljit, known for his down-to-earth personality and strong connection with his fans, is now facing backlash. Fans are voicing their frustration on social media, demanding answers. Many feel that they have been taken advantage of, and that this situation ruins the excitement of attending live concerts.
