Boney Kapoor Opens Up About Arjun Kapoor’s Bond with Salman Khan after announcing Wanted 2
Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor recently shed light on the strained relationship between his son Arjun Kapoor and superstar Salman Khan. Despite their fallout, Boney Kapoor acknowledged Salman’s significant role in shaping Arjun’s career in the film industry.
In a candid revelation, Boney Kapoor credited Salman Khan for recognizing the potential in Arjun Kapoor as an actor and actively supporting his transformation. He recalled how Salman personally intervened, encouraging Arjun to shed weight and pursue acting, ultimately influencing his approach to the craft.
While acknowledging the current tension between the two actors, Boney Kapoor emphasized Salman’s invaluable contribution to Arjun’s growth as an artist. Despite their differences, he expressed gratitude towards Salman Khan for instilling important values and principles in Arjun Kapoor, particularly emphasizing the importance of maintaining a good physique in the industry.
Arjun Kapoor was reportedly dating Salman Khan sister Arpita Khan and had good relations with the Khan family. But Arjun’s closeness to Malaika Arora ex-wife of Arbaaz Khan is rumoured to be the main reason for divorce between the couple. Later after divorcing Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor declared their relationship and are living together. This led to a fallout between Salman Khan and Arjun Kapoor.
When questioned about the impact of Arjun and Salman’s fallout on his own relationship with the superstar, Boney Kapoor reaffirmed his unwavering respect and admiration for Salman Khan. He emphasized that their bond remains unchanged, highlighting Salman’s generous and warm-hearted nature, which continues to earn his admiration and love.
His statement hints at Salman Khan joining hands with Boney Kapoor for Wanted 2. But if this statement of Boney Kapoor is not enough to convince Salman. Then he will have to look for a replacement for the Tiger actor which can actually put the whole project at risk.
