Bollywood actress and Maine Pyaar Kiya fame Bhagyashree discloses that individuals in Bollywood are frequently deemed as unkind, leading to a tendency for people to exhibit rudeness and insensitivity toward them.

In a recent interview with a daily, Bhagyashree shared her insights on how actors are perceived. Her words shed light on the sensitive side of celebrities. Who often find themselves victims of the prevailing notion that those in Bollywood aren’t inherently good people. She expressed that it is the most prevalent perception that people in Bollywood aren’t kind.

She further stated that as actors they find themselves constantly having to prove otherwise. When you see a social media post of someone cooking or cleaning, people immediately assume, ‘They must not really be doing that. They have so much help at home.’ The truth is, it’s our home. So we take care of it. We eat, so we can certainly cook. We’re just like all of you. It becomes a real issue when people turn rude and insensitive.

She’s quite correct in pointing out how netizens often perceive actors and actresses as starting off with an effortless, smooth journey without any hardships. However, delving into the success stories of these self-made entertainers reveals a path paved with significant struggles, sacrifices, and numerous setbacks.

Simultaneously, the spotlight on these actors’ lives tends to perpetuate the misconception that their existence is inherently easy, solely because they are in the business of acting. This general belief can be unfounded and overlooks the strenuous efforts and challenges they face behind the scenes.

On the work front

Bhagyashree has made a successful comeback to the silver screen after a considerable career hiatus. She re-entered the industry in roles as a supporting artist. She is portraying characters that may be brief but leave a lasting impact on the stories. Her most recent films, “Chatrapathi” and “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan,” didn’t fare exceptionally well at the box office. But her performance garnered praise from the audience.
