While promoting the upcoming movie, Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Kapoor walk the ramp for Manish Malhotra as Bride and Groom.
Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh are awaiting a big release this year starring opposite each other in Rocky Aur Rani kii Prem Kahani. It is a love-based comedy story directed and produced by filmmaker Karan Johar. As per the promotions, it targets to bring back the magic of love on big screens.
Also, it is one of the big-budget Bollywood movies made of almost 150 crores. It has other big names like Jaya Bachchan, Dharmendra, and Shabana Azmi as the supporting cast. It also marks the return of Karan Johar as a director after seven years long gap. Further, the narrative is all set to hit theatres from 28 July 23.
In the past as well as in 2017, the Gully Boy actors walked the ramp together holding hands with the same designer Manish Malhotra. At that time both the stars were unmarried and working together in their upcoming film, Gully Boy. This time both Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh are married to their respective partners and working together on this love-based drama.
As the release date is just around the corner. Both the actors are keeping busy these days promoting their work on every stage. Just as part of promotional activity, recently only they again walked to the ramp of the fashion show for the famous Bollywood dress designer Manish Malhotra. They posed next to each other in a bride and groom attire to promote their upcoming film among the audience.
While they walk to the ramp Ranveer Singh was full of energy and entertaining the audience as always. He also went off the ramp to exchange hugs and wishes with other star colleagues present there as guests. After that, he showered his wife Deepika Padukone with all the love for her support on the show.
Designer Manish Malhotra accompanied them at the end of the walk followed by other brides and grooms presenting his bridal couture on stage. This time in the bridal couture, celebrity designer Manish Malhotra brings all the silver in trend. Alia Bhatt flaunted a wedding lehenga embellished with heavy silver embroidery. She wore it with a deep plunging neck and a heavily embroidered blouse.
Further, she finished her look with a net base and a heavy silver work dupatta. Her jewellery as well resembled her attire. She kept her hair open and wavy to give a complete look of a modern bride. Accompanying her on the ramp, her co-star Ranveer Singh wore an off-white simple and plain sherwani with a churidar.
Additionally, he carried an over-the-top long embroidered jacket with a ban neck. Again it was all embroidered in silver. Both walk the ramp as a dream couple and many other models followed them on the stage to flaunt the bridal couture of the designer.
Ranveer Singh’s wife and famous Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone graced the show among the audience supporting her husband and the linked cast for the upcoming narrative. But Ranbir Kapoor give it a miss as he was not in the city. As per the latest updates on social media, he is accompanying his mother Neetu Kapoor in Italy for the last few days to celebrate her birthday there.
Many among the fans and followers are also speculating that these days, all is not well in the Kapoor paradise. The newly married couple is not making public appearances together since Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor released.
As per the latest Bollywood news, they both came closer and started to see each other on the sets of Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar.
On the work front, Alia Bhatt is going through the best phase of her career. Recently she walked the international carpet representing India as an artist. Moreover, her last narrative Brahmastra part one Shiva was a big hit. She was cast opposite her husband and co-star Ranbir Kapoor. She is one of the B-town actresses to have tasted the best success compared to her other contemporaries.
The actress was working after she married and came back to sets when Raha was just 4 months old. But Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani marks her comeback post-delivery. Apart from that she has another big film lined up for release. She is making her Hollywood debut with Heart of Stone alongside Gal Gadot.
Ranveer Singh as well hopes big from the flick as he didn’t give a hit since 2019. That year he gave two big hits simultaneously Gully Boy and Simmba. His future words depend a lot on the critical acceptance of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani.
