Amrinder Gill is one of the Bollywood singers who started as a manager in his career and ended up with a successful  Pollywood career. He is deemed a significant contributor to the evolution industry of North India. Born in the year 1976 the “Ik Kudi Punjab Di” actor always wanted to act in life. He had a childhood passion for words acting that always made him stand in front of the mirror just to work as an artist.

After earning a master’s degree from Guru Nanak Dev University he joined Central Cooperative Bank based in Ferozepur as a bank manager. But life had other plans for him. An opportunity landed in his lap that finally pushed him to a stream he was born to be for. Finally, he recorded his first melody for Jalandhar Doordarshan TV soap named Kala Doria. His first official song was “Sanu Ishq Ho Gaya” in 1999.

And after that, there was no looking back. He then started adding more melodies to his hit list. After continuing a successful career as a Pollywood singer. Amrinder Gill finally decided to start acting. And in the growing industry, it was required to get more talent at that moment. Hence he finally fulfilled his childhood dream that he saw while acting in front of a mirror. His debut movie was Munde UK de.

Start of Film Career of Amrinder Gill

Amrinder Gill started off with an acting career as a supporting artist and finally emerged as the main lead within a couple of years. After having success in acting he finally decided to stand as a producer for Angrej in which he also portrayed a dual role. And last year finally he decided to turn as a director and debuted with Chhalla Mud Ke Nahi Aaya.

It was completely an Amrinder Gill project as he acted produced directed and obviously sang songs for the project. Made on a healthy project of around 10 crores it turned out to be a significant Bollywood success and earned over 39 crores in its lifetime. In 2023 the singer-turned-director is awaiting two sequels and one movie in the Bollywood industry.

The two sequels are Golak Bugni Bank Te Batua 2 and Chal Mera Putt 4. Chal Mera Putt is a successful Pollywood film from 2019 that was a huge success. Amrinder Gill decided to continue the non-stop drama and converted it to a second series with a second chapter in 2020. It further succeeded and on-demand, the team produced a third installment. Hence Chat Mera Putt 3 launched in 2021.

And, now after a gap of one year, the same team is likely expected to reprise their characters in Chal Mera Putt 4.
After that, the actor has Ucha Buraj Lahore da in line for release. Since his debut as a producer, Amrinder Gill has only taken projects with partnership or solo production. At the age of 47, Amrinder Gill turned out to be a major contributor to the Pollywood industry.

It is a very small diligence compared to Bollywood and Kollywood. Hence, artists like Amrinder Gill and Gippy Grewal continue to do hard work and add their bit to this small world of entertainment and showbiz.

We wish to have more contributions from Amrinder Gill in the industry. Through his production house Rhythm Boyz, he has also introduced many talented artists in the industry. And, in future as well, he will continue to bring more talent to this entertainment clan of Punjab.
