The much-awaited movie Game Changer, starring Ram Charan and directed by Shankar, has landed in a major piracy controversy. Before the release, the team of Game Changer received threats on social media and messaging apps like WhatsApp. The people behind the threats demanded money and warned that they would leak the movie if their demands werenโt met. Soon after the release, pirated versions of Game Changer film started spreading across different websites and Telegram channels.
To fight this, the makers filed a police complaint with the Cybercrime department. They provided evidence against 45 people involved in these illegal activities. The police are now investigating whether these people acted alone or had outside help.
