In a recent interview with a media portal, the brother of Lawrence Bishnoi, who is currently embroiled in the case, made strong allegations against the actor. He claimed that Khanโs father, Salim Khan, had previously accused the Lawrence Bishnoi gang of pursuing the case for financial gain. However, he further stated that Salman Khan had once presented a cheque book to the Bishnoi community, suggesting they “fill in the figures” and settle the case.
The statement reads, “His father, Salim Khan, said that the Lawrence gang is doing this for money. I want to remind him that his son brought a cheque book in front of the community, asking us to fill in the amount and take it. If we were hungry for money, we would have accepted it back then.”
The Bishnoi community has long held anger and resentment against Salman Khan for allegedly killing the sacred blackbuck during the shooting of his film Hum Saath-Saath Hain in 1998. Lawrence Bishnoiโs brother emphasized the deep-rooted angst the community feels toward the actor, hinting that money was never their motivation in seeking justice for the blackbuck.
This revelation adds a new twist to the already controversial blackbuck poaching case, further intensifying the focus on Salman Khanโs legal battles.
